Strength. Holds MODIS (2000+), Landsat (1984+), Sentinel-2 (2015+), Sentinel-3 (2016+) and the ocean-colour L3 archives co-registered in one place. Reduction happens SERVER-SIDE, so you download rows of numbers rather than terabytes of imagery.

Weakness. Sentinel-3 is TOA only - you must bring your own atmospheric correction. Sen2Cor L2A is land-optimised and returns negative reflectance over dark turbid water. Inline getInfo has a payload ceiling.

Use it for. THE route for all three site AOIs. Use --to-drive for anything longer than about five years.
