Algae Dataset
Every data hub, dataset, sensor, variable, paper and limitation in one tree — and for each: where it comes from, how far back it goes, how often it captures, why it belongs in a cholera study, and why it does not work everywhere.

Capture cadence
DAILY
- Which sensors
- MODIS 250 m on the Meghna and the Matamuhuri mouth only, Sentinel-3 OLCI 300 m, ocean colour 4 km.
- Which sites
- Only Chakaria and Matlab. Dhaka has no daily-capable sensor at all — every water body is sub-250 m.
Is it defensible? Defensible from 2017 at Chakaria and Matlab. Before 2015 you rely on MODIS alone, and at Dhaka a daily series would be roughly 95 percent invented.
